MYREALWORLD MG RESEARCH PORTAL TERMS OF USE
This research portal is provided by argenx BV (argenx) and Vitaccess Limited (Vitaccess) in order for users to access the aggregated results of the MyRealWorld MG observational study (the study). Together, argenx and Vitaccess are referred to in these terms as we or us.
Individual users may be granted access to the research portal by argenx (or by Vitaccess on behalf of argenx).There are some rules for each user (referred to as you) to follow in using the research portal and its content, as set out below. These terms are for the benefit of both argenx and Vitaccess.
If you do not follow these rules, we may terminate or suspend your access to the research portal and its content (and you may also be in breach of the law and have legal liabilities to us).

We may update these terms from time to time. They were last updated on [6 November 2020].
1. Who we are
argenx BV is a company incorporated under the laws of Belgium, having its registered office Industriepark – Zwijnaarde, Belgium. argenx is conducting the study.
Vitaccess Limited is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 10642948. Vitaccess is providing services to argenx in relation to study, including providing the technology for the research portal, and managing the research portal and the associated study data.
Intellectual property rights (including copyright, database rights and trade marks) subsisting in relation to the research portal and its content are owned by Vitaccess and argenx (and their licensors).

2. Permitted use of the research portal
You may access and use the research portal and its content only for the purposes of:
- (a) carrying out research into the impact of myasthenia gravis and its treatment in the real world; or
- (b) subject to obtaining prior written approval of the Scientific Advisory Board for the study, publishing findings within recognised academic publications and presentations and (where relevant) within your organisation's marketing materials; or
- (c) where relevant, carrying out your role as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the study.
If you access the portal as a representative of argenx or another organisation, you should only use the portal on behalf of your organisation, and not for your own personal purposes.
3. Acceptable use rules
You agree that you shall:
- (a) access and use the research portal using your own username and password, keep your password confidential, and not share individual login details with any other person;
- (b) ensure that any information and other content which you provide to us or input into the research portal is accurate and lawful (including, for example, providing us with accurate and up to date name and email address);
- (c) not access, use, copy, modify or share the research portal or its content other than as permitted by us for the purposes specified in section 2 above. In particular, you shall:
- only make and use such internal copies of and extracts from the content as are reasonable in all the circumstances for these purposes;
- not download, publish or present the whole or substantial parts of the content, nor make adaptations of the content without our prior written consent;
- not sell nor share any content to or with any person other than the organisation you represent (or argenx or Vitaccess), other than sharing as part of publications and presentations approved in accordance with section 2(b) above; and
- ensure that any publication or presentation using any content or about the research portal meets any publication criteria specified by us (or by the Scientific Advisory Board as part of its approval referred to in section 2(b)).
- (d) not attempt to reverse engineer or analyse the content of the research portal for a purpose aimed at achieving, or in a way that enables it to achieve, the identification of any participant or participants in the study, nor to relate any of the content back to any identifiable participant or participants. Should, at any stage, you reasonably consider that you may be able to achieve this, you agree to:
- promptly notify us; and
- not use any content in any way that could affect the relevant participants' rights, cause them damage or distress, or otherwise intrude upon their privacy;
- (e) not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any of the research portal's software or technology;
- (f) not make any unlawful or unauthorised use of the research portal or our (or our providers') equipment, software or networks, including:
- attempting to gain unauthorised access;
- introducing any virus or malware;
- causing any denial of service attack, overloading or causing damage; or
- committing any criminal, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful act;
- (g) in using the research portal and its content, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and (unless in conflict with our other acceptable use rules) contractual obligations which you have to the organisation whom you represent, or to other persons;
- (h) inform us promptly if you become aware of any misuse of the research portal; and
- (i) follow our additional reasonable instructions in relation to your access to and use of the research portal.
3. Limitations on the research portal and our liability to you
- (a) We may, at any time, withdraw the research portal or specific content, or terminate or suspend your access to, or availability of, the research portal or specific content. Reasons may include (but are not limited to): if you do not comply with these terms; or for the purposes of repair, maintenance or updates.
- (b) We may, at any time, make changes to the research portal or its content.
- (c) Whilst we seek to provide the research portal with reasonable care and skill, we do not guarantee its availability, accuracy, quality or appropriateness for your specific needs.
- (d) We do not exclude or limit any liability to you for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
- (e) Subject to (d), to our provision of the research portal with reasonable care and skill, and to our data protection obligations, we are not liable to you for:
- any loss or damage arising from reliance on information or reliance on availability of the research portal or specific content; nor
- any unavailability of particular information within the research portal.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
